As an Application Management Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring  and maintaining existing production data pipelines, reading  Spark/Scala logs and performing  analytical SQL queries to validate data and support regulatory reporting. You will also ensure daily and monthly pipeline executions and  communicate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure on-time reporting to financial/regulatory bodies. Duties also include BAU support and on-call and  coordinating  issue resolution and incident documentation.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Operations, Application Support, QA, or a related role
• University background in Computer Science/IT/Finance or equivalent
• Strong hands-on with SQL, Spark (PySpark/Scala); Databricks (Delta Lake, Hive, Parquet), Starburst, Cloudera; Airflow
• Cloud/Big Data: S3/Scality, Delta Lake, Parquet;
•  Basic scripting (Scala)will be  helpful
• Excellent communication and collaboration able to work with cross-functional teams;
• Good command of  English (B2+),
• Analytical mind,
• Willingness  to learn;
• Open to work in shifts and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
