Guidewire PC & Integration Developer - Contract

We are seeking a seasoned Guidewire PolicyCenter & Integration Developer with strong Knowledge in Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire platform development, integration, and configuration. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance insurance solutions.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions and integrations.
  • Develop web services, APIs, and batch processes for seamless system integration.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Guidewire applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.

Here's What You Need

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Guidewire development, with a focus on PolicyCenter.
  • Strong understanding of Guidewire Integration mechanisms (Gosu, GUnit, SOAP/REST APIs).
  • Knowledge on Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
  • Proficiency in Gosu programming language and Guidewire Studio.
  • Experience with Guidewire Data Model, Rules Engine, and Workflow.
  • Experience with Admin Data and User Management
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, and other data exchange formats.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire’s messaging framework for asynchronous communications.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and TFS for task management and version control.
  • Strong coordination skills to collaborate with cross0functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Guidewire certification in PolicyCenter.
  • Experience in SQL Server 2019 + and T-SQL
  • ESB Integration - SoapUI / Postman
