What the job is about:

 

  • Analysis (and documentation) of the business and technology environment
  • Development of a sustainable cloud strategy for our customers in the industrial sector
  • Consulting and active technical support of internal teams as well as customers in architecture selection and in the evaluation of technologies to be used
  • Implementation of a suitable data architecture and design of APIs
  • Support of strategic innovations and business initiatives from a technology and architecture perspective, development of architecture blueprints
  • Processual and technical contact for project managers, delivery managers and moderator between the different stakeholders

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Solid professional experience in software development and/or IT architectures, as well as professional experience in the role of Software Architect.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a distributed team environment and set own direction of work to achieve team objectives
  • Solid understanding of systems integration and data management methodologies / practices
  • Extensive experience with enterprise level cloud deployment models
  • Technology and innovation topics such as Industry 4.0, IoT, Big Data, Cloud (especially Azure), AI, Blockchain, VR/AR, SaaS, PaaS, etc. excite you and you know their deployment options
  • Specific know-how in an industry; ideally automotive or mechanical and plant engineering
