Role Summary

We are looking for Project Head / Project Manager to join the GFT APAC team working onsite with our strategic client building a Digital Bank in Singapore.   

 

As a Project Head, you will work with industry-leading technology and business experts in the virtual banking domain, as well as development teams who are well versed in all matters related to agile methodologies and frameworks, technology delivery and the engineering of exceptional software solutions. Daily, you’ll collaborate internationally with colleagues, clients, and partners throughout Asia and Europe.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Squad leads in the communication with the customer by collating & presenting feedback
  • Review the project planning and monitoring work regularly with the Squad Leads via internal & external governance ceremonies. Socializing minutes and resulting actions among stakeholders
    • Squad Level: Daily stand-ups, Scrum of Scrums, Weekly Checkpoints and sync-ups, sprint retrospectives & reviews
    • Program Level: Lead Internal & External Operational governance meetings as well as support the Client and Delivery Manager to prepare and coordinate the internal and client-facing Steering and Executive governance committee meetings
    • Townhalls: together with the Delivery Manager and GFT account team coordinate Townhalls
  • Address escalations from squad leads (internal) or client (external) about project risks and issues and establishing processes to overcome the same:
    • Onboarding/Offboarding process simplification & standardization
    • Squad team performance feedback (external stakeholders: PO, tech leads, CTO/CIO & internal stakeholders) & creating improvement plans together with squad leads/Project Managers
    • Partnership Enablement/Support
  • Monitor and review customer satisfaction, devise improvement strategies and implement initiatives (year-end celebration, high performers rewards program etc). Support the Delivery Manager and near-/off-shore Delivery team to monitor Employee satisfaction and identify areas of improvement, flight risk, key personnel, etc.
  • Support Delivery Manager with SOW reviews, change requests, extensions, and novations together with the Client Manager
  • Ensure compliance of the project and of the work products with GFT’s policies and processes
  • Support the GFT Operations & Finance team with
    • month end timesheets, Financial PO report generation, consolidation & identifying any areas of improvements
    • clarifying contractors' queries/support for expense approvals
    • mandatory e-learning compliance training follow-ups/closure
    • background check report generation & follow-ups
  • Engaging the client, together with the Sales / Client Manager, to gather requirements and understand their challenge(s) 
  • Help to shape and develop the appropriate delivery solutions by determining the right skillsets, team sizing, hiring needs, etc. and communicating the same to regional delivery managers based in Poland and Vietnam
  • Working closely with the offshore Delivery Manager (in Poland), as well as the local Client Manager, understand the client's pain points, strategic trends and initiatives and positioning GFT by providing relevant solutions

Experience/Skills:

  • At least 5+ years in a previous role as Project Manager/ PMO/ Project Coordinator or Engagement Manager and should possess high levels of the below skills to perform well in the role:
    • Capacity to manage high-stress situations
    • Written and verbal communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Conflict resolution skills
    • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
