Our client LGT Private Banking is launching the LGT Incubator and Accelerator, a dedicated HUB in Barcelona. We are working in close collaboration with them to build a talented team to develop sustainable software. Its goal is to design state-of-the-art digital products and services that enhance the customer experience.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person willing to work as a Lead DevOps Engineer and interested in leading the LGT&GFT team. Are you interested in joining a multicultural team and participating in a challenging project?
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers in the development and delivery of sustainable software products.
- Standardize, automate, and document the setup of development, testing, and production environments.
- Design and drive improvements to the full SDLC process, applying best practices.
- Maintain rapid deployment pipelines, CD infrastructure monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Actively participate in high-level team activities such as architecture improvements, process improvements, etc.
- Ensure service-level agreement requirements are met.
Skills will help you to succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least B2 level of English, written and spoken.
- Solid experience with Bazel and Helm.
- Experience working with monorepo.
- Expertise using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
- Experience with test automation (Behavior-Driven Development and Functional Testing).
- Experience with both coding and infrastructure.
- Experience working in Agile projects applying methodologies such as Scrum.
- Experience in developing the branching strategy, automation strategies, and test plans.
- Expert knowledge in Infrastructure Automation tools such as Docker, Vagrant, or Chef.
- Experience with Cloud application design, management, and monitoring.
Tech Skills:
- Automation: Experience automating software delivery processes using tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or other similar automation tools.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Proficiency in setting up, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab.
- Cloud Computing: Proficiency in using cloud computing platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to deploy and manage applications.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate the process of deploying and managing infrastructure.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Experience working with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AKS to deploy and manage applications.
- Monitoring and Logging: Proficiency in setting up monitoring and logging systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Elasticsearch to ensure the health and performance of applications.
- Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language like PowerShell or Bash to automate tasks and write custom scripts to support the software delivery process.
