What are we looking for?

At GFT we have an open position for someone willing to work as Head of Purchasing. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person interested in working in an international enviroment. 

Your main role and responsibilities will be:

• Head of Group Purchasing and disciplinary management of two employees in this department  
• Further development of Group-wide purchasing guidelines in line with regulatory requirements and best practices 
• Supporting and advising domestic and foreign Group companies on the application of Group standards and guidelines 
• Continuous optimisation of purchasing processes with the aim of increasing efficiency and quality 
• Managing the continuous development of the purchasing platform  
• Establishment/expansion of emissions-optimised Group-wide purchasing management, including a standardised reporting system, particularly for the purposes of sustainability reporting 

Skills will help you succeed:

• Successfully completed business studies or a comparable qualification
• Relevant knowledge in operational and/or strategic purchasing 
• First disciplinary management experience and competence in project management 

Soft Skills

• Independent working style, assertiveness and strong analytical thinking 
• Enthusiasm for working on new tasks and enjoyment of success in a team 
• Affinity for the digitalization of processes. Knowledge of working with a purchasing platform  
• Communication skills, fluent in English
