At GFT we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Accounting Clerk (m/f/d) to join our finance team in our Sant Cugat office.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• General ledger accounting, including payroll and asset accounting
• Accounts payables

• Accounts receivables
• Preparing Financial Statements

• Sparring partner for the controlling department and correspondence with auditors

• Creation of ad-hoc analyses, evaluations and statistical reports

• Further development and optimization of internal processes and participation in (global) projects in accounting

The requirements / soft skills will help you to succeed:

• Successfully completed degree as a certified accountant or a completed degree in Business Administration

• Strong computer skills and proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA is desirable

• Strong communication skills primarily in English, with at least a basic proficiency in German

• High level of independence, initiative and reliability

• Interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team

•  Knowledge of IFRS

• Nice to have: Knowledge of OR (Swiss GAAP) or HGB (German GAAP)
