L&D Team
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone to work with the L&D Manager and Coordinator, as well as the wider UK People Team and GFT community. 

You will be reporting directly to the Learning and Development Manager.

 

Role Summary

As Learning and Development Partner, you will have proven experience in Learning & Development. The L&D partner will work closely with the business and senior managers, and play a crucial role in learning, development and talent management initiatives for the UK.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver corporate inductions and facilitate new joiner lunches/events as and when required
  • Partnering with the business to understand training needs and offer solutions which meet business needs
  • Ownership and monitoring of GFT UK mentorship program
  • Support performance management and talent management  initiatives
  • Partnering with global colleagues in developing the Learning Management System (LMS)  
  • Support leaders in performance management discussions suggesting appropriate and timely interventions
  • Support the roll out and evaluation of the Professional Skills Framework 
  • Support Career Framework discussions offering appropriate advice to leaders where required 
  • Vendor relationship management
  • Constantly evaluate and measure the effectiveness of learning and development interventions so we can continuously improve our offering and deliver our ROI 
  • Work with the wider L&D and People team to share best practice and develop consistency of approach
  • Facilitation of internal learning sessions 
  • Delivering various Power Hour sessions on various topics to meet L&D needs across the business
     


Required Experience

 

Technical Skills: 

  • Demonstrable experience of using a blended learning approach to maximise learning outcomes
  • Demonstrable experience of data analysis and reporting. Experience in Power BI would be advantageous although not essential
  • Some knowledge of the IT industry may be advantageous although not essential
  • Proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills 
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification although not essential

 

Behaviours:

  • Previous experience in learning, development, and talent management (at least 3 years)
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and comfortable with shifting priorities 
  • Be a self-starter and propose effective solutions where required High levels of adaptability and flexibility and maintains a can-do approach
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to tailor style and approach as you will be working with many stakeholders at all levels across the business.

The majority of our roles are determined by client and internal stakeholder requirements, but the expectation is that you will be required to be in the GFT office 1 or 2 days a week (this may vary depending on stakeholder requirements and could go up or down).
