Key Responsibilities
Commercial Offerings & Services Leadership
- Own and evolve GFT UK’s portfolio of offerings and commercial services—ensuring relevance, differentiation, and measurable commercial impact within Financial Services.
- Design and package services that respond to UK banking and regulatory trends across Cloud, Data, AI, Engineering Modernisation, and Digital Platforms.
- Partner with technology, delivery and CoE leaders to create services that are repeatable, margin‑accretive, and aligned to client demand signals.
Pre‑Sales & Complex Solutioning
- Lead the commercial solutioning of complex client challenges by orchestrating cross‑functional teams to create compelling, outcome‑led proposals.
- Translate client needs into commercially robust, scalable solutions, ensuring offerings are pragmatically priced, clearly differentiated, and aligned to GFT’s global capabilities.
- Oversee UK RFP responses, client pitches, and strategic proposals to maximise win rates and commercial value.
Business Development & Market Growth
- Drive pipeline growth across UK Financial Services by shaping targeted propositions, market campaigns, and commercial engagement models.
- Identify and qualify new revenue opportunities, leveraging industry insights, regulatory drivers, and FS domain trends.
- Strengthen strategic partnerships (e.g., hyperscalers, fintechs, ISVs) to support co-sell, co-build, and co-deliver opportunities.
Go‑to‑Market Strategy & Positioning
- Collaborate with Client Unit Leads to define sector‑specific GTM plans aligned to FS themes such as risk transformation, cloud modernisation, data migration, operational resilience, payments modernisation, and AI adoption.
- Position emerging technologies (Cloud, AI/ML, GenAI, Data) as tangible services and accelerators that solve real banking challenges.
Capability, IP & Accelerator Development
- Build and maintain reusable solution assets, pricing frameworks, accelerators, and industry‑specific IP that enhance sales velocity and margin.
- Partner with Centres of Excellence to define capability roadmaps that strengthen GFT’s value proposition in the UK FS market.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor high-performing pre-sales, offerings, and business development specialists, promoting a culture of commercial excellence, innovation, and client-first thinking.
- Represent the UK in GFT’s Global Offerings & Business Development forums, shaping cross‑regional collaboration and localisation of global assets.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Technology to ensure seamless go-to-market execution and consistent market messaging.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Own and strengthen strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, fintechs, ISVs, and key technology alliances to drive pipeline generation and co‑sell/co‑build opportunities.
- Develop joint propositions with partners that enhance GFT’s value proposition and increase market share in UK Financial Services.
- Lead UK participation in joint business planning sessions, partner-funded campaigns, and ecosystem-led go‑to‑market initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive leadership experience in commercial offerings, solutioning, pre-sales or services development within a UK technology, consulting, or systems integration environment.
- Deep expertise in the financial services and banking sector, with strong understanding of regulatory drivers, industry pain points, and buying cycles.
- Proven track record of leading complex commercial proposals, shaping services, and delivering measurable revenue and margin growth.
- Strong understanding across Cloud, Data, AI, Digital Engineering, and platform transformation—translating technologies into packaged services.
