What we’re looking for:

 

We are looking for Consultants with a strong banking domain SME knowledge combined with business analysis skillset.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Document and understand the current state across stakeholder functions
  • Business process re-engineering; driving and documenting the Target state process ensuring consistency across Business Line and location with appropriate controls
  • Drive the elicitation and management of requirements in a timely manner
  • Identify and assess change needs, capture and document requirements
  • Analyse the impact of changes on current, interim and target state
  • Support the business throughout the design and implementation process
  • Work with the programme to ensure that the technology solutions are delivering maximum business value.
  • Support the PM for business case / project charters
  • Undertake & leverage data analysis for identification of opportunities and recommending options and associated costs
  • Collaborate with other consultants in their client engagements to ensure quality and successful delivery of projects
  • Support the team in running and growing the GFT business and pipeline in the UK
  • Support the team in building intellectual property for GFT as required by the market
  • Support the team in building a great culture and making GFT a great place to work

 

Required skills: 

  • Previous experience in Process Mapping and Business Process Reengineering within Financial Services industry
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable working with data and enjoy detailed analysis
  • Knowledge and awareness of (related) business solutions in the market desired
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methods and tools
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture within a large corporate environment
  • Ability to work in a team and on own initiative
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
  • Be a self-starter who loves to solve problems, going above and beyond to deliver lasting client value, not scared to roll their sleeves up
  • Highly adaptable to a changing environment, can prioritise tasks accordingly and is able to work under pressure, meeting strict deadlines
  • Proactive, enthusiastic candidates preferred

 

Accountabilities of the role: 

  • Work on clients engagements, contributing to the common goal (as defined in SOW)
  • Gather, analyse and present data, deliver agreed objectives (as defined in SOW)
  • Synthesise information and communicate clearly to audiences, providing clarity to complex issues
  • Support growing the GFT business

 

Key criteria: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related discipline (e.g. engineering, business, economics, or international relations); graduate degree highly desirable
  • Min 5 years of relevant work experience e.g. in management consulting, business or process analysis and technology change within retail or corporate banking, insurance, asset managers highly desirable
  • Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills (demonstrated e.g. through coursework or relevant work experience)
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritise tasks accordingly
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio (or other process mapping tools)
  • Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of other European languages is an advantage
  • Must be prepared to travel (the UK / international travel)
