Who are we looking for?

We are currently seeking a Staffing Manager who is an enthusiastic and smart team player with at least 6 years’ experience working in the software industry with practical experience of resource operations, in the management role of projects, programs or delivery units.

The role will join our GFT Vietnam Operations team working closely with Delivery Units, Talent Acquisition/Recruitment, Client Operations and HR teams, as well as international/global peers remotely in global GFT countries.

Reporting to the Country Head, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to resolve challenging business problems and contribute directly to the expansion of GFT Vietnam. 

What are the responsibilities and required experience of the role?

  • At least 6 years’ working experience in software development companies handling big missions of technical resource operations, delivery manpower planning (preferably candidates working in Fintech domain or fast-growing, big scale Technology organizations).
  • Have good technical understanding and foundation engineering skills in multiple areas including Backend (Java and other Open-source frameworks/Micro-service architecture), Frontend (ReactJS and other front-end tech/Micro-frontend architecture), Cloud (DevOps/AWS/GCP/IaC/CI/CD), Blockchain (DLT), Data, etc.
  • Lead the Staffing missions from end to end in APAC regions and GFT global upon request and ensure all staffing processes and activities are compliant.
  • Establish the best practices of forecasting demand side (sale pipeline) and matching supply side (resource pipeline) to ensure the highest efficiency in resource management weekly and monthly (including generating internal spreadsheets to help calculate team sizes/shapes, open demands).
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective hiring for GFT Vietnam, smooth updating of resource demands of delivery units as well as resolving the ambiguities during staffing requests.
  • Participate in the new initiatives of staffing and recruitment policies, procedures.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and capable of managing work linked to peak loads.
  • Advanced Office skills (Excel, Power Point), and the ability to analyze and summaries data for Executive management.
  • Effective communication skills in Vietnamese and fluency in English (written and oral) - able to communicate quickly, clearly, and appropriately both internally and externally to senior levels
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, high ability of multi-tasking and meeting deadlines upon requests.
  • Big advantage for candidates who are used to holding the management role of project/program or delivery units.
  • A degree educated (or equivalent) within a Computer Science discipline would be advantageous.
