Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • You lead discovery and ideation, drive innovation and validate business concepts with Design Thinking methodologies.
  • You take ownership for topics from early ideation through validation to implementation within teams.
  • You facilitate workshops, design sprints, and collaborative sessions, applying customer insights and research to guide decisions.
  • You develop interactive prototypes, selecting the right fidelity to test and validate user and business ideas.
  • You create cohesive concepts and visual designs for app and web, maintaining a user-centric approach across platforms.
  • You collaborate closely with product owners, developers, researchers, and stakeholders in an agile environment to achieve shared goals.
  • You foster a culture of trust and collaboration, enabling your team to deliver their best work.

 

Required Skills:

  • Solid professional experience (at least 5 years) as a UX/UI Designer, participating in the entire design process for mobile and web designs.
  • You have confident experience in leading workshops, design sprints, and applying design methods to align business, tech, and user perspectives.
  • Experience in developing components, principles, and design system libraries.
  • You have an impressive portfolio demonstrating your ability to translate rough business ideas into exciting, user-centric products with a strong aesthetic sense.
  • Knowledge of fundamental graphic design principles such as typography, colour theory, layout design, usability, and accessibility.
  • User-centric mindset. 
  • Proficient in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InVision.
  • Portfolio reference: Please provide a link to a viewable portfolio in your CV, showcasing your past work, design process, and case studies.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Bonus: Experience in the banking sector.
  • Fluency in English (at least B2).
  • Bonus: Experience in designing financial products, banking mobile applications or similar interfaces.
  • Bonus: You have Design Thinking Coaching experience or qualifications (e.g., HPI Academy, AJ&Smart Masterclass, IBM Enterprise Design Thinking, etc.).

 

Soft skills:  

  • You have excellent communication skills and can articulate complex design problems and solutions effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills/investigating skills on technical matters.
  • Good time management and prioritization of tasks.
  • Ability to identify problems and suggest mitigating and contingency actions.
  • Proactive, motivated, and willing to learn and develop oneself.
  • You have experience in agile environments with a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
  • Contribute to innovative thinking and bring new ideas.
