Role Summary

As a Senior Business Analyst at GFT, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will be responsible for writing business requirements, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and managing change initiatives. Your role will involve coordinating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to backlog management and prioritization within the team
• Prepare user stories in agreement with the team and Product Owner
• Participate in feature validation, ensuring proposal, estimation, and scope for a feature are completed
• Contribute towards release planning and release sign-offs
• Perform desk checks with the team
• Adhere to organizational guidelines and processes
• Facilitate getting the work done without coercion
• Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution when addressing issues across squads.

Education and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in business or a related field; an MBA is a plus
• At least 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with banking knowledge being an advantage
• Experience in designing banking products (preferably retail banking) and producing design documents detailing all relevant aspects of the products
• Previous product management experience in Loans, Credit Cards, Current Accounts, Savings Accounts, Multi-currency Accounts for banks
• Strong understanding of applicable APAC regulations for these banking products
• Familiarity with MS Project, JIRA/Confluence, and the Atlassian suite
• Experience working within Agile methodologies
• Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team
• Domain knowledge in investment products is a plus
• Ideally, some background in Web3 technologies, as the business revolves around blockchain
• Strong skills in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for project management
• Proven experience in leading and supporting successful projects
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written) to effectively interact with stakeholders
• Ability to be onsite in the APAC region as required
