About the role:

We are looking for a Technical Writer who will be able to produce high-quality documentation regarding the usage and/or onboarding of the different platforms built by the team in charge of providing support to the different developers as well as by the team in charge of guaranteeing that access and their respective authorizations are in accordance with the company's policies. The ideal candidate must be a person capable of working in an integral way with the other teams of the organization, possessing strong values ​​of communication, teamwork and collaboration since they are essential to deliver documentation that is easy to understand and that can be used as an instrument to facilitate the functions of the different teams. 

A day in this role:

• Develop comprehensive usage or onboarding .Net and Python documentation that meets organizational standards, such as user guides, API documentation, troubleshooting guides among others to serve as instrumental resource for different teams. 
• Be able to write user-friendly content, that meets the needs of target audience which will be mostly developers from all the firm from different technology teams, turning insights into language for user success. 
• Work with different teams and subject matter experts to obtain an in-depth understanding of the platforms, workflows and the documentation requirements. 
• Test and update existing documentation. 
• Evaluate existing content and create innovative methods for improvement. 
• Place the documentation produced in Confluence, wiki pages or Gitlab Markdown but is open to other alternatives. 
• Research, create and maintain information architecture to ensure adherence to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration. 

The expertise requested:

• Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences. 
• Excellent communication skills and written English level.
• Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to details.
• Proficiency in the use of document creation software.
• Knowledge of .Net and Python to facilitate proper understanding of the code and ensure the quality of the documentation produced.
• Ability to understand and accurately translate technical information for a general audience.
• Team player with excellent collaboration skills. 

Desired or nice to have expertise:

• Previous experience in software development. 
• Experience in using XML tools to create documentation. 
• Provide examples of previously completed documentation, preferably including code examples as part of the content, ideally those code examples are functional, and that the person reading can use at some point.
