Job Description:
About the role:
This person will be responsible for creating, modifying, maintaining, and supporting infrastructure and individual system components that enable business functions and IT Services. This individual will use their expert knowledge of infrastructure solutions, especially in relation to Microsoft programs, platform migration, system security, enterprise directories, and cloud technologies, to help improve and scale the EES product offerings. This individual will balance availability, security, efficiency, and functional requirements to help provide optimized services and will work closely with other IT and InfoSec team members to identify and manage existing and emerging risks.
A day in this role:
- Support high availability Microsoft windows environment in a 24/7 hybrid cloud.
- Support and design Azure Cloud Environment.
- Support our Active Directory and Azure Active Directory design and administration.
- Support Devops Pipelines
- Write Terraform and PowerShell scripts to automate process.
- Integration of new technologies like AI.
- Support and design product and corporate network environments.
- Implement and support monitoring solutions for proactive alerting.
- Deploy patch management solutions.
- Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical resources.
- Play a critical role in developing, implementing, and executing disaster recovery plans.
- Conduct hardware and software audits for compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and configurations guidelines.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support all infrastructure and site services.
The expertise requested:
- Extensive experience with Systems Administration and Engineering.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows technology stack.
- Extensive experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and SFTP
- Extensive experience with Active Directory and Azure Entra ID.
- Extensive experience with Network administration.
- Extensive experience with Backups and Storage Administration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
- Working knowledge of Group Policies
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft windows 2019/2022 servers.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft windows clustering.
- BS in related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Analytical and Troubleshooting skills.
- Azure Cloud Certification (is a plus)
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
