About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Security Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in information security technology, experience in the financial services industry, and will be working in the field of information security. The Security Specialist will need a detail expertise with cybersecurity regulations from the CFTC and/or Irish National Bank. Strong written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience including clients, business management and Board of Directors.
 

A day in this role:

• Implement and operate the firm’s security architecture
• Architecture covers endpoint protection, perimeter defense, intrusion detection and SIEM.
• Trading application is accessible by clients via the internet
• Ensure security architecture products are successfully deployed into the production environment.

The expertise requested:

5+ years in a hand-on role in information security technology

2+ years in the financial services industry working in the field of information security
2+ years managing information security on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Network engineering
Cybersecurity products and services – analysis, selection, implementation and management
Operational risk management - cybersecurity
Working knowledge of cybersecurity regulatory requirements in the financial services industry
Detailed expertise with cybersecurity regulations from the CFTC and/or Irish National Bank
Strong written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience including clients, business management and Board of Directors.
