About the role:

Design and implement a real-time trading system for the interdealer marketplace. The platform will be 100% deployable in AWS cloud and leverage the industry-leading core sequencer trading architecture. The platform is a 100% ground up build to replace an existing vendor platform. This role is a hands-on player-coach leading a small team.

The expertise requested:

• Design and architect all server-side components of a new low-latency trading platform deployed in AWS.
• Recruit, train and lead a team of 3-4 software engineers
• Hands on development of 1 or more major components in Java; ensure design consistency and engineering excellence for all back-end server components
• Create and implement test automation covering all functionality, performance and stability
• Deploy to production, replace legacy trading platform and provide level 3 support for the new application
