Job description:

About the role:

We are looking for a Junior Java Developer with knowledge in AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will support the development and maintenance of enterprise applications, participate in agile ceremonies, and help manage cloud-based systems in a rotational support environment. Strong English communication skills are essential for this role.

A day in this role:

• Develop, test, and maintain Java J2EE applications.
• Design and implement basic AWS cloud solutions with guidance.
• Participate in agile practices such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Provide rotational support for production systems and resolve incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Manage email communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing.

The expertise requested:

• 1–2 years of experience in Java development (J2EE or Spring preferred).
• Exposure to AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, or RDS.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Comfortable using Git and CI/CD tools.

Desired or nice to have skills:

• Willingness to learn and grow in cloud and backend technologies.
• Ability to adapt to a rotational support schedule.
