Role Summary

We are looking for an Account Manager (Bidding) to join the GFT APAC team and help build our rapidly expanding business while striving to create world-class digital banking and blockchain solutions with our clients and partners. This position is based in Vietnam with possible travel within the APAC region.


As an Account Manager (Bidding) at GFT, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by managing the end-to-end bid process for strategic opportunities. You will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders to craft compelling proposals and ensure the successful delivery of bids that align with our business objectives daily, you’ll collaborate internationally with colleagues, clients, and partners throughout Asia (primarily Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia) and Europe (Poland and Spain).


Key Activities

  • Lead the bid management process from initiation to submission, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
  • Analyse bid requirements and develop a clear understanding of client needs and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, solutions architects, subject matter experts, and delivery teams, to develop winning bid strategies
  • Coordinate and manage the contributions of team members to ensure the timely completion of bid deliverables
  • Craft high-quality, tailored bid responses that effectively address client requirements and differentiate GFT from its competitors
  • Review and edit proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with branding and messaging guidelines
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges in the bid process
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the bid process, and coordinate timely responses to inquiries and requests for clarification
  • Track and report on bid performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements as needed


Required Skills

  • Proven experience in bid management, proposal development, or a similar role within the IT services or consulting industry
  • Strong understanding of the bid lifecycle and best practices in bid management
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively in a very high standard of English
  • A keen eye for detail and a results-oriented mindset
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including TEAMS, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Aptitude to learn quickly, innovate, and challenge the status quo
