Position Overview
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and help drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hard sciences (e.g., statistics, mathematics, probability) and quantitative methods, combined with hands-on experience in Python, SQL, and GCP Data and AI services. This role is perfect for someone with a problem-solving mindset, creative thinking, and a passion for leveraging data to solve complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover actionable insights and support data-driven decisions.
• Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms using Python.
• Leverage GCP Data and AI services to build scalable data solutions and predictive analytics.
• Write efficient SQL queries and perform query optimization for data extraction and manipulation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Design and implement data pipelines to support machine learning processes.
• Create clear and insightful data visualizations and reports for stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and AI.
Requirements:
Must to have:
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst (4-5 years).
• Strong expertise in hard sciences such as statistics, mathematics, and probability.
• Proficient in Python for data analysis, modeling, and machine learning.
• Experience with GCP Data and AI services for building and deploying models.
• Strong SQL skills, including query writing and optimization.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Creative thinker with a problem-solving aptitude.
Good to Have:
• Knowledge of data pipelines for machine learning processes.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker..
