Role Summary

We are partnering with a leading fintech client delivering a blockchain-based platform for real-time cross-border payments and atomic settlement, designed to integrate with existing banking systems and align with modern standards such as ISO 20022.
 As part of this engagement, we are supporting the client in onboarding multiple financial institutions onto their platform and strengthening their delivery capability. 
This is a client-facing, value-added role, combining functional advisory, solution design, and delivery support.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the functional lead for onboarding engagements with client banks.
• Work directly with financial institutions to assess existing payment architectures, processes, and operating models.
• Design and validate the functional mapping between client systems and the platform's integration layer.
• Define the target functional scope and solution design aligned with platform capabilities.
• Translate platform features and constraints into clear, actionable implementation guidance for clients.
• Develop and enhance the standard bank integration playbook, standardizing best practices and repeatable methodologies for client onboarding.
• Facilitate functional workshops with business, operations, and IT stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements, functional design, and integration approach Support functional issue analysis and resolution during onboarding and early production phases.

Required Experience 

• Strong background in payments domain, including: Cross-border payments SWIFT/correspondent banking ISO 20022/CBPR+
• Experience in bank onboarding, payment implementations, or transformation programs.
• Solid understanding of: Payment message flows Settlement processes Integration patterns in banking systems
• Proven client-facing experience with financial institutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern payment infrastructure or real-time payment platforms.
• Exposure to tokenization, digital assets, or distributed ledger-based systems.
• Experience in cross-border / multi-country programs.
