About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Content Specialist to lead the creation of high-impact content across our B2B IT consulting marketing function. This is a senior individual contributor role for a seasoned writer who understands the nuances of the technology and consulting landscape — someone who can translate complex ideas into compelling narratives that resonate with C-suite buyers, IT leaders, and technical decision-makers alike.
You will be the content engine behind our brand and demand generation efforts, driving everything from thought leadership and long-form editorial content to campaign assets and sales enablement materials.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Editorial
- Develop and own a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our marketing strategy and goals.
- Build and manage an editorial calendar spanning multiple content formats, personas, and stages of the buyer journey.
- Define and maintain the brand voice, tone, and messaging framework across all written assets.
- Conduct audience and competitive research to inform content direction and identify whitespace opportunities.
Long-Form & Thought Leadership Content
- Write authoritative long-form content, including white papers, research reports, eBooks, and executive guides on topics such as AI, cloud transformation, managed services, cybersecurity, digital modernization, and more.
- Develop thought leadership articles and bylines for senior executives and subject matter experts.
- Produce case studies and success stories that articulate measurable client outcomes and demonstrate consulting expertise.
- Ghostwrite executive-level content for LinkedIn, industry publications, and speaking submissions.
Campaign & Demand Generation Content
- Create content assets for integrated campaigns, including landing pages, email sequences, nurture tracks, and paid media copy.
- Partner with the Campaign Manager to develop GEO-driven blog content and pillar pages that attract and convert target accounts.
- Write compelling ad copy, CTAs, and conversion-focused content across digital channels.
- Support ABM (Account-Based Marketing) initiatives with personalized content tailored to target verticals and accounts.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key strategic partner to marketing, sales, and executive leadership on content and messaging.
- Brief and manage external copywriters, agencies, or freelancers when required.
- Present content plans and performance insights to stakeholders.
- Champion content quality standards and provide editorial guidance across the broader marketing team.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to develop positioning and messaging for our offerings prior to go-to-market.
- Evaluate requests, set priorities, and make well-justified decisions, including when to decline requests, with clear and constructive guidance.
Qualifications
- Excellent English proficiency, with outstanding written and spoken communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of professional content writing experience, with significant experience in B2B technology.
- Demonstrated expertise in writing for senior business and technical audiences, including CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and procurement leaders.
- Proven portfolio of long-form content (white papers, eBooks, case studies, executive thought leadership) that has driven measurable marketing outcomes.
- Strong understanding of content’s role across the full B2B buyer journey and ABM strategies.
- Experience with SEO best practices, content performance analytics, and an understanding of how GEO works.
- Exceptional research skills, with the ability to rapidly absorb complex technical subject matter and produce accurate, compelling content.
- Outstanding editing and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
- Exposure to analyst relations content and experience creating research studies.
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
