Role Summary
As a Senior Mobile Developer (Android) at GFT, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative mobile applications that address real-world problems. With over 10 years of experience, you will be involved in the end-to-end mobile application development lifecycle, utilizing your extensive expertise to build sophisticated and high-quality applications. We are looking for self-starting engineers with a passion for technology and a “get things done” mentality.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Lead the complete mobile application development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high performance and user engagement.
- Innovative Solutions: Architect and build first-class products to solve real-world problems, employing best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
- Technical Leadership: Provide strategic technical direction and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, managing and prioritizing conflicting requirements from various stakeholders effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, embracing better ideas from others and staying open to challenges and possibilities.
Education and Experience
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Over 10 years of experience building complex applications for Android using Kotlin/Java.
- UI and System-Level Development: Deep expertise in mobile application development at both user interface and system levels.
- Test-Driven Development (TDD): Extensive experience in TDD, including the implementation of instrumented unit tests.
- Modern Android Technologies: Mastery of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, MVVM, and multi-module architecture.
- Real-Time Data: Proven experience in building applications that display real-time graphs and handle real-time data.
