Job Type: Contract to Hire 

Daily Rate Range: $750-$1000

 

 

GFT is looking for a Senior Developer who will be part of a mighty team dedicated to one of GFT’s most relevant clients. You will be part of a high performing, diverse team of engineers within a 10,000+ and growing, global organization developing and implementing technology solutions for its clients and partners.

 

Mandatory Requirements:

 

Minimum 7-10+ years of experience;

  • Extensive experience in developing, testing, and deploying applications using C#
  • Understanding of .NET frameworks and .NET Core;
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure AI Search (formerly Azure Cognitive Search), Azure Logic Apps, Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure AD, very important), Azure API Management, Azure SQL, and other cloud-based solutions. Ability to design and implement cloud architectures.
  • Profound knowledge of Azure DevOps services and tools.
  • Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (like Git), build and release management, and automated deployment methodologies using Azure DevOps.
  • Strong skills in SQL programming, database design, and management.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks can be advantageous, though not always required.
  • Leadership and Project Management Skills
  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers.
  • Strategic Planning: Skill in aligning technological solutions with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in communicating with various stakeholders, including technical teams, management, and clients.

 

 

  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration and stakeholder interaction.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and environments.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Aptitude for creative thinking in designing effective and innovative solutions.
  • Certifications and Education (Optional but Beneficial)
  • Relevant Degree: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Desirable: Certifications in Azure (like Azure Solutions Architect Expert), C#, or SQL;
