About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PMO Consultant to join an existing strategic transformation project with one of our key insurance clients based in Lausanne, Switzerland. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual with a track record of supporting complex projects and ensuring robust governance and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong PMO capabilities, excellent communication skills in both English and French, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders across business and IT.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Program Manager and project leads in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of a multi-stream transformation initiative.
- Maintain and enhance PMO governance frameworks, status reporting, milestone tracking, and resource planning.
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment across workstreams, ensuring timely escalation of risks and issues.
- Prepare and deliver project documentation, dashboards, and executive reports tailored for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor project financials and support budget tracking, forecasting, and vendor management activities.
- Support workshop facilitation, meeting preparation, and follow-up on actions and decisions.
- Help ensure compliance with internal project delivery standards and methodologies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a PMO role on large-scale or strategic transformation projects, ideally in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks (e.g., PMI, Agile/SAFe environments).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with fluency in both English and French.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Confluence, Jira).
Desirable
- Experience working with Guidewire (e.g., PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter) or other core insurance platforms.
- Previous experience in the insurance sector, particularly in policy administration or claims transformation programs.
- Prior experience working on-site with Swiss clients or within regulated environments.
