Role Overview 
We are seeking an experienced external consultant to support the implementation of a Wealth Management platform across multiple jurisdictions (Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the UK). The consultant will work as part of a cross-functional project team, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of the platform in line with regulatory and business requirements. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

•    Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing implementation activities across all regions.
•    Requirements Analysis: Work with business and technical teams to gather, validate, and document functional and non-functional requirements. Translate business needs into clear documentation: models, diagrams, presentations, and specifications.
•    Solution Design & Integration: Provide expertise on Wealth Management processes and platform capabilities; support integration with existing systems.
•    Testing & Quality Assurance: Coordinate test planning, execution, and defect resolution to ensure platform stability and compliance.
•    Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between project teams, vendors, and business units; ensure clear and timely communication.
•    Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate as needed.
•    Regulatory Compliance: Ensure implementation aligns with local regulatory requirements in Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the UK.
•    Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and technical specifications.
•    User Training: Prepare user training materials and guides; assist business users in updating workflows
•    Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery aligned with validated requirements

•    Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) (nice to have

System Knowledge 

•    Avaloq Core Banking System (must)
•    Aladdin Wealth Platform (huge advantage)
•    Proven track record in implementing Wealth Management platforms or similar financial systems. Experience implementing Aladdin Wealth, especially with Avaloq (advantage)

Regulatory Knowledge 

•    MiFID (Suitability & Appropriateness, Costs & Charges, Product Governance) (must)
•    UK and Swiss regulatory requirements for investment services (advantage)

Other Skills 

•    Ability to analyze existing workflows and propose optimized solutions
•    Strong Project Management experience (must); PM certification (advantage)
•    Expertise in conceptual modeling and ability to envision solutions
•    Knowledge of Agile methods and tools (Jira, Confluence)
•    Demonstrated experience in designing and documenting requirements in Agile teams
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to provide concise and constructive responses
•    Independent, proactive, and high-quality work standards
•    Ability to manage complex and ambiguous situations with minimal guidance
•    Flexibility to handle multiple requirements efficiently

Education & Experience 

•    University degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Business Management, or equivalent
•    Relevant experience in Wealth Management platform implementation projects.

KPIs & Success Metrics 

•    Requirements Quality: 100% of business requirements documented, validated, and approved within agreed timelines
•    Documentation Quality: All models, diagrams, and guides delivered with high clarity and usability for end-users
•    Testing Accuracy: UAT coordination completed with <5% defect leakage post-go-live
•    Delivery Timeliness: All assigned tasks completed according to project milestones and deadlines

•    Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from project team and business stakeholders (measured via surveys or reviews)
•    Compliance: Full adherence to MiFID and applicable UK/Swiss regulations in delivered solutions
•    Vendor Coordination: Timely delivery of vendor outputs with zero critical delays attributable to consultant
