  • Operate in a consultative capacity with senior client stakeholders to evaluate solution options, drive architecture decisions, and guide solutions through implementation and production.
  • Evaluate architecture and technology options and articulate trade-offs across business value, complexity, cost, security, scalability, resilience, and delivery risk.
  • Provide technical leadership for emerging technologies and new solution offerings, working with specialist SMEs where deeper domain expertise is required.
  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture and provide architecture governance throughout delivery, ensuring alignment between agreed architecture, scope, NFRs, security requirements, and implementation.
  • Work closely with engineering teams throughout delivery, providing architecture guidance, reviewing designs, resolving technical challenges, and supporting production readiness.

Required Skills

  • Experience in core banking architecture and modernisation is advantageous.
  • Strong experience in consultative technical pre-sales and solution architecture, with the ability to support revenue objectives and build credibility with stakeholders ranging from engineering teams to senior executives.
  • Strong experience of modern architecture patterns, including microservices, API-led architecture, event-driven architecture, domain driven design, and distributed systems.
