Contract of employment

Salary range: 14600 – 22300 PLN gross 

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Engineer with around 6 years of experience and strong expertise in advanced Oracle PL/SQL development, database performance tuning, and optimization.

You will join a team responsible for onboarding and integrating new data feeds from upstream systems into the internal source database. The role combines hands-on development with end-to-end feature ownership, testing, performance optimization, and close collaboration with other technical teams.

Your duties: 

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Oracle PL/SQL solutions.

• Create and enhance complex packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.

• Diagnose and resolve complex database performance issues.

• Analyze and optimize slow-running SQL queries and PL/SQL code.

• Perform database performance tuning and optimization in high-volume data environments.

• Take full end-to-end ownership of assigned features, from technical analysis and development through testing and delivery.

• Plan and execute comprehensive E2E testing to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered solutions.

• Proactively collaborate with relevant stakeholders and technical teams to identify dependencies, gather required data, and resolve integration issues.

• Support the onboarding and integration of new data feeds from upstream systems into internal databases.

• Work across the end-to-end data ingestion process, including data filtering, parsing, validation, transformation, and rejection handling.

• Ensure incoming data meets required quality, consistency, and structural standards before it is made available for further processing.

Requirements:

• Min. 6 years of professional experience working with Oracle databases.

• Strong expertise in advanced PL/SQL development.

• Hands-on experience developing complex packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.

• Proven experience in database performance tuning and optimization.

• Strong ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code.

• Experience working with high-volume databases and large datasets.

• Experience taking ownership of features throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• Willingness and ability to independently plan and execute E2E testing.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• A proactive approach to cross-team collaboration.

• Ability to independently identify technical dependencies, gather relevant information, and resolve integration-related issues.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

You will join one of the teams responsible for onboarding and integrating new data feeds from upstream systems into the internal source database.

The project covers the complete data ingestion lifecycle, including:

• Data filtering

• Data parsing

• Data validation

• Data transformation

• Rejection and exception handling

The team ensures that incoming data meets the required quality and structural standards before it is made available for further processing.

The resulting data serves as a foundational source for multiple applications and systems, making this project an important component of the organization's overall data infrastructure.
