Salary range: 15800-24300 PLN gross
As a SRE Production Engineer you will be responsible for supporting and improving reliability, scalability and efficency of a bank production plaftorm.
Requirements:
- Min. 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of SRE practices, logging mechanisms
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Practical experience in implementing best practices in delivering good quality code
- Experience in automation and automation tools
- Ability to script using PowerShell, Java/ Python or any other equivalent
- Ability to monitor and report on application up-time, performance, and other metrics
- Experience with on-prem to cloud
- Knowledge of Fabric/OpenShift – experience with GCP desirable
- Experience with monitoring solutions (e.g. Geneos, Netcool) – observability solutions (e.g. New Relic) desirable
- Experience with orchestration tools (e.g. ControlM)
Your duties:
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to maintain and improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of production systems.
- Design, Implement and manage monitoring and observability solutions to monitor, report and alert on application uptime, performance, and other critical metrics, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Java, Python, or other equivalent languages to automate operational tasks, deployments, and system configurations.
- Automate wherever possible/required using tools such as Ansible
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in delivering high-quality, maintainable, and reliable code into production environments.
- Support and participate in the migration of on-premise applications and infrastructure to cloud platforms.
- Configure and maintain existing monitoring solutions (e.g., Geneos, Netcool) and observability solutions (e.g., New Relic) to provide deep insights into system performance and user experience.
- Work with orchestration tools (e.g., ControlM) to manage and automate complex workflows and job schedules.
- Contribute to release and change management processes, ensuring smooth and controlled deployments of new features and updates.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application design, identify potential bottlenecks, and ensure operational readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and impact to business operations.
- Document operational procedures, runbooks, and system configurations
