Role Summary

 

The Chief People Officer (CPO) will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s people strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of engagement, performance, and continuous improvement. As a member of the Executive Committee, the CPO will oversee the entire HR function, including recruitment, employer branding, internal communications, learning & development, compensation & benefits, payroll, and personnel administration. This person will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and drive the company’s talent agenda, ensuring a best-in-class HR strategy.
  • Oversee key HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, learning & development, total rewards, payroll, and HR operations.
  • Support business transformation into an AI technology powerhouse with strong local market growth.
  • Spearhead leadership development initiatives to strengthen the leadership pipeline.
  • Enhance employee engagement strategies to drive motivation, retention, and productivity.
  • Improve and automate HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement AI-driven HR solutions to optimize talent management and decision-making.
  • Develop and execute a data-driven people analytics strategy to support business objectives.
  • Ensure robust budget management and cost-effective HR strategies.
  • Build organizational capabilities through strategic workforce planning and capability development.
  • Manage and continuously improve key HR processes, ensuring alignment with global strategy and compliance with employment laws.

 

Key Qualifications & Experience

 

  • A minimum of 8 years of HR experience in a senior managerial role including CPO or similar.
  • Experience in a large-scale IT or technology company (800+ employees).
  • Knowledge of modern HR tools and methods, including HR technology, HR process automation & AI solutions implementation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • A challenger mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep expertise in employee engagement, leadership development, competitive total rewards, employer value proposition (EVP), recruitment, and employment law.
