What will you do?

 

As a Solution Architect, you will advise stakeholders and translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions. You will help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of strategic solutions. You will own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.

This role requires managing how decisions in each area affect the overall solution, developing deep expertise in enterprise systems architecture, systems integration and cloud technologies. Furthermore, it involves capturing and sharing best practices within the solution architect community and understanding the specific business domain you will be working in.

 

 

Your skills:

 

• Experience in designing and building software solutions using modern architectures and technologies

• Experience in leveraging cloud solutions with one of leading, public cloud providers: AWS/GCP/Azure

• Expert knowledge and experience of Continuous Integration & Delivery, Agile principles and practices

• Expert knowledge with enterprise architecture/infrastructure/integration patterns

• Familiarity with and ability to design microservice architectures, containerization, Kubernetes, Kafka, infrastructure as code, service mesh, API gateways

• Understanding of system production readiness concerns and NFRs: HA, DR, logging and monitoring

• Advanced experience and knowledge across various aspects of IT, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data management, budgeting, and governance

• Ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions

• Excellent communication skills that will allow you to represent GFT within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel within the company

• Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders in the client's organisation

• Ability to support sales and contribute to offering materials

• Fluency in English

• Openness to business trips, including international ones

 

 

Nice to have:

 

• Previous experience in building systems for the financial industry would be a big plus

• Experience in domain-driven development, event-driven architecture, data specific architectures is a big plus
