What will you do?

 

As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will take a key role in designing, automating and maintaining infrastructure for a highly scalable technology platform used globally. You will collaborate closely with development teams, improve cloud architectures, drive automation initiatives and ensure smooth and secure operation of production environments. Your work will directly contribute to the performance, reliability and evolution of the platform.

 

Your tasks

 

  • Collaborate with developers to understand infrastructure needs and design architecture
  • Document technical solutions and infrastructure designs
  • Develop automation for Infrastructure as Code and operational tasks
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Ensure stability, security and scalability of cloud and non‑cloud systems
  • Lead service management areas including DR planning and vulnerability patching
  • Oversee upgrades, patching and service sustainability activities
  • Provide advanced support for production and non‑production environments
  • Liaise with teams responsible for networking, storage and OS layers
  • Recommend improvements by analysing current systems and proposing enhancements

 

Your skills

 

  • 8+ years of experience in GCP and DevOps engineering
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Ansible and Cloud Build
  • Experience in scripting with Shell and Python
  • Strong understanding of Linux and container technologies
  • Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and DevSecOps practices
  • Understanding of IBM MQ, sFTP and TLS certificates
  • Experience in Java or Python‑based environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to solve complex technical challenges
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn new technologies

 

Nice to have

 

  • Experience in Go, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Flux and GitHub
  • Experience with API integrations in Shell or Python
  • Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle and CloudSQL
  • Background in microservices architecture or messaging systems (e.g., Solace)
