About the Role:
As the Client Executive Manager (CEM), you will oversee and cultivate GFT’s most significant relationship—an elite Tier 1 investment banking client. This role demands a senior leader with a proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar client portfolios and fostering long-term partnerships. The CEM will be responsible for driving the growth and strategic direction of this critical account, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service, and expanding engagement across multiple business units. Will work in matrix organization, reporting to global Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy that aligns GFT’s offerings with the client’s business goals, focusing on their digital transformation and technology advancement initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders within the investment bank, maintaining and deepening C-level relationships. Act as a trusted advisor, influencing the client’s decision-making and shaping the partnership's future.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities within the client's organization. Expand GFT’s presence by proposing solutions that address key client challenges, leveraging GFT’s expertise in cloud-native platforms, data engineering, and core system transformations.
- Ensure client satisfaction and the successful delivery of all services. Oversee project implementations and work closely with delivery teams to ensure the client’s business objectives are met and exceeded.
- Lead efforts to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the client's various business divisions, proactively positioning GFT as the partner of choice for complex transformation initiatives.
- Partner with GFT’s internal executive team to shape broader strategic initiatives. Ensure that client needs are reflected in product and service developments.
- Financial Oversight: Take full ownership of the account's financial performance, ensuring profitability, forecasting, and budgeting for account growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive activities within the Capital Markets space. Use this knowledge to adjust strategy and remain ahead of market demands.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in the Capital Markets sector, with significant experience managing large-scale investment banking clients.
- Proven track record of selling services into Tier 1 investment banking including ability to open new accounts or pivot into new areas for established accounts.
- Demonstrated success in growing and managing multi-million accounts, with a focus on driving strategic initiatives and fostering long-term relationships.
- Strong ability to understand and articulate the financial impact of technology transformations on the client’s business model, particularly within investment banking.
- Experience working with senior leadership teams (CIOs, CTOs, COOs) at top-tier financial institutions, with an ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
- Adept at consultative selling, able to link GFT’s services to the client’s business objectives in a compelling and value-driven manner.
- In-depth understanding of cloud-native platforms, core system transformations, and data engineering, with the ability to discuss these topics credibly at a senior level.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects for major clients.
