What will you do? 

DLT Engineer will support discovery phase and further building of Platform for Tokenized Deposits

We are seeking an experienced DLT Engineer with deep expertise in Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible networks, smart contract development, and secure tokenization workflows. You will be instrumental in designing and deploying production-grade decentralized applications, focusing on tokenized cash, money market funds (MMF), and tokenized deposits. This role combines hands-on Solidity development with infrastructure integration, including custody, compliance, and cloud-native backend services.  

Your tasks 

• Design and develop secure and upgradable smart contracts using proxy, UUPS, and beacon patterns.
• Lead implementation of smart contracts using standards such as ERC-20, ERC-721, and other emerging standards for financial instruments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tokenized representations of cash, MMF units, and deposit products on blockchain.
• Integrate smart contracts with key custody solutions (hot/cold wallets) including Fireblocks or equivalent.
• Implement and manage blockchain indexing strategies to expose on-chain data to off-chain services.
• Ensure security best practices in contract development and conduct code reviews and audits.
• Experience with services like Alchemy, Infura, or Chainstack for reliable node and event access.
• Deploy and manage solutions using Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) platforms, ideally Kaleido.
• Participate in research and development for CBDC settlement mechanisms (e.g. mBridge, Project Ensemble).
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for decentralized applications. 

Your skills 

• Experience developing EVM-based smart contracts using Solidity (2+ years)
• Smart contract testing with tools like hardhat, truffle, ganache
• Strong understanding of upgradeability patterns: Proxy, UUPS, Beacon.
• Proven experience with smart contract security, audits, and remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with tokenization lifecycle and compliance in financial domains (cash, MMFs, bank deposits).
• Experience integrating with custody and wallet providers (e.g. Fireblocks, Ledger Vault, MetaMask Institutional).
• Hands-on experience with blockchain indexing tools
• Deep understanding of Ethereum infrastructure and blockchain service providers like Alchemy, Infura, Chainstack.
• Experience using Kaleido or other BaaS platforms for enterprise deployments.
• Knowledge of CBDC settlement systems and current pilots (e.g. mBridge, Ensemble, Dunbar). 

Nice to have 

• Experience integrating with Identity Providers (IDPs) and enterprise IAM systems (OAuth2, SAML).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerized DApp deployments, and helm-based service orchestration.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures on AWS and/or Azure.
• Proficiency in Java + Spring Boot, especially for backend integration with smart contracts.
• Knowledge or prior involvement in KYC/AML workflows, or integration with compliance providers
