What will you do? 

 

You will join a banking project in the Loans Exposure area, focusing on credit products, credit exposure, risk, and financial data management processes. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, and support data analysis and validation using SQL and PL/SQL in an Agile/Scrum environment.

 

Your tasks 

 

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders in the banking domain.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with product owners, SMEs, developers, and QA to ensure correct implementation.
  • Perform independent data analysis using SQL and PL/SQL to validate business rules and outcomes.
  • Create and optimize queries to support investigations, reconciliations, and reporting needs.
  • Support workshops and requirement clarification sessions with business and technical teams.
  • Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Document processes, requirements, and changes in a structured and auditable way.

 

Your skills

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
  • Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and managing business requirements end to end.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
  • Good practical knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL including query creation and data analysis.
  • Experience working in an Agile or Scrum delivery model.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with credit products, credit exposure, risk, or loans related processes.

 

Nice to have

 

  • Knowledge of regulatory, reporting, and compliance processes in banking.
  • Experience with financial data management, reconciliation, or data quality processes.
  • Experience working with cross functional international delivery teams.
  • Familiarity with data validation approaches and test support from a BA perspective.
