Role Summary

Key responsibilities

• Development: Design, develop, and deploy workflows, forms, and applications using the OpenText AppWorks platform.
• Configuration: Set up and configure the platform based on specific client needs and requirements.
• Integration: Integrate AppWorks solutions with other systems using technologies like REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and other OpenText products.
• Analysis: Analyze business processes to design and implement automation and efficiency improvements.
• Support & Maintenance: Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and manage deployments, patches, and hotfixes.
• Collaboration: Work with business analysts, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and operational guidelines. 

Required skills and experience

• Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with the OpenText AppWorks platform, including its BPM, case management, and entity modeling features.
• Programming: Proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, XML, XSLT, and SQL.
• Web Services: Experience with web services, particularly REST and SOAP APIs.
• Operating Systems: A strong understanding of either Linux or Windows operating systems.
• Cloud Environments: Familiarity with cloud environments like Azure is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work with clients and teams.
