Job description:

About the role:

with a strong background and experience in extranet connectivity (mpls/dmvpn/vpn (route and policy based), as well as a strong background in routing/switching/enterprise infrastructure.   Load balancer configuration is a must.  OSI model/TCP stack troubleshooting and analysis is also a must.  The NE will be working on application migrations, client migrations, and infrastructure build in support of our Cloud9 project.  Cisco, Fortinet, Brocade, Citrix Netscaler Load Balancers, F5 Load Balancers are key areas I am focused on with experience in building and troubleshooting.

The expertise requested:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Networking technologies(CCNA preferred)
• Hands-on experience with VPN workflows (CISCO)
• Experience with Citrix Networking Solutions (e.g, Citrix, ADC/NetScaler)
• Solid understanding network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, etc)
• Experience with Cloud platforms -AWS (preferred) or Azure.
• Familiarity with Cloud networking components( VPCs, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Desired skills:

• AWS or Azure certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and hybrid cloud connectivity models.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise network environments.
