What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a System Administrator responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT services, identity management, and application access across the organization. This role requires expertise in ticket management, Single Sign-On (SSO) administration, change management processes, and user support, while maintaining high service quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Monitor and triage incoming IT support tickets based on priority, impact, and urgency
• Categorize, assign, and escalate tickets to the appropriate teams or specialists
• Track service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely resolution of requests
• Communicate effectively with end users regarding ticket status and resolution activities
• Maintain and improve support documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks
• Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations using protocols such as SAML and OIDC
• Onboard new applications into identity platforms including Okta, Azure AD, and Google Workspace
• Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and group-based access controls
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and access-related issues across integrated applications
• Maintain accurate documentation of application inventories and identity configurations
• Submit, document, and execute infrastructure and system changes according to established change management procedures
• Prepare change requests, including risk assessments, rollback plans, and implementation plans
• Coordinate approvals and implementation activities with stakeholders
• Execute approved changes during maintenance windows and validate successful implementation
• Document outcomes and ensure compliance with change management standards
Requirements and Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in System Administration or IT Support
• Experience with identity providers and SSO technologies
• Knowledge of SAML, OIDC, and SCIM protocols
• Experience with ticketing platforms such as Jira Service Management, Zendesk, or ServiceNow
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Experience with change management processes and operational procedures
• Experience managing user access and authentication across business applications
• Experience as a SysOps / System Administrator
Nice to Have
• Experience administering Okta, Azure Active Directory, or Google Workspace
• Scripting knowledge using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Experience with automation of administrative tasks
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
