Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer specializing in multi-cloud infrastructure with a particular focus on Alibaba Cloud. This role involves designing, automating, and optimizing cloud solutions, emphasizing resilience, high availability, security, and SecDevOps best practices. Candidates with strong Azure experience, especially including Power Platform capabilities, are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and implement resilient, highly available cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, primarily Terraform and Ansible.
• Embed SecDevOps principles into CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud operations.
• Develop disaster recovery and multi-region failover strategies for mission-critical applications.
• Implement and manage automated testing frameworks for infrastructure validation, security compliance, and deployment processes.
• Execute resilience testing (chaos engineering) and security validations to ensure high availability and compliance.
• Apply zero-trust security models, robust IAM policies, and cloud compliance frameworks.
• Optimize cloud performance, cost-efficiency (FinOps), and adherence to compliance and security standards.
• Collaborate with development teams on cloud-native, microservices-based architectures utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies.
• Utilize observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor to maintain optimal performance and reliability

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer, with deep technical expertise in multi-cloud environments, specifically Ali Cloud.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience implementing SecDevOps, automated testing, chaos engineering, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Strong knowledge of zero-trust security models, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrable expertise with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
• Experience collaborating with development teams in building microservices architectures.
• Fluent in local languages (Cantonese), proficient in English for effective cross-team communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with both local and regional teams, acting as a key integrator and facilitator for all stakeholders.
