Senior Full Stack Developer

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing 

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications for capital market equity.
• Implement and optimize data streaming solutions using technologies like Flink and Spark.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability through effective coding practices and performance tuning.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve development processes.

Here's What You Need 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience with Java development (minimum 5-10 years).
• Strong knowledge and experience with data streaming technologies such as Flink and Spark.
• Experience with other relevant technologies and frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with capital market equity domain is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.

Work Environment:

• This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work in our downtown Toronto office weekly. Flexibility to work from home for part of the week is available.
