We are hiring a senior Kotlin Back-End Developer to develop distributed microservices that support trade capture, lifecycle processing, and risk computation for the ABS Platform. This role involves close collaboration with technology and business stakeholders in securitized products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop microservices in Kotlin using Spring Boot and reactive programming.
  • Implement core trade booking, pricing, and lifecycle event workflows.
  • Integrate with Kafka-based messaging systems and upstream/downstream APIs.
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and test coverage of services.
  • Work closely with architects, product owners, and quants in a global environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of capital markets and equities trading processes.
  • 6+ years of back-end development experience, including strong Kotlin or Java expertise.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
  • Prior exposure to Fixed Income, ABS, or structured finance systems is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with messaging (Kafka, MQ) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of system design and distributed computing.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts in a multicultural team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
