Guidewire Business Systems Analyst - Contract (PC / CC)

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review. Apply advanced elicitation techniques to work with different types of stakeholder groups
  • Perform data mappings, reverse engineering, documenting as-is flows, performing gap analysis and elicit requirements to support to-be end state
  • Perform business analysis includes understanding of business objectives, planning, eliciting, scoping, analyzing, documenting, prioritization, managing changes, maintaining traceability, managing backlogs, stakeholder analysis and effort estimation
  • Produce requirements documents – Problem Opportunity Analysis, Scope Modelling, Business Process Mapping, Business Context Diagraming, High-level and Detailed Requirements, Use Cases & Scenarios, Business Rules & Data Catalogue, User Stories, Story Decomposition, Story Mapping and Requirements traceability
  • Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise standard

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role with proven experience in Guidewire suite preferabbly last 1-2 yrs on Guidewire platform.
  • Guidewire ACE ceritfied is a nice to have!
  • This role will require candidates to travel to office 2-3 days a week
  • Experienced in facilitating and collaborating with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements. Expert in performing data mappings, reverse engineering, gap analysis, documenting as-is and to-be flows and requirements, understanding of business objectives, planning, eliciting, scoping, analyzing, documenting, prioritization, managing change, maintaining traceability, managing backlogs, stakeholder analysis and effort estimation
  • Expert level of requirements analysis and documentation skills – Problem Opportunity Analysis, Scope Modelling, Business Process Mapping, Business Context Diagraming, High-level and Detailed Requirements, Use Cases & Scenarios, Business Rules & Data Catalogue, User Stories, Story Decomposition, Story Mapping, Requirements traceability and non-functional requirements
  • Excellent communication, active-listening, relationship-building, self-management, proactive, team-player, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a Financial Institution
  • Relevant undergraduate degree and/or post-graduate education in Business Analysis
