FINEOS Business Analyst

We are currently seeking a skilled FINEOS Business Analyst to help deliver solutions that address complex business needs or one of our clients within a fast‑paced insurance technology environment. This role provides the opportunity to work hands‑on with the FINEOS platform, partnering closely with product and delivery teams to translate requirements into clear, actionable user stories. You will guide functional design discussions, support development and testing activities, and ensure best‑practice processes are upheld throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Product Owner to define requirements, shape the roadmap, and align on business priorities.
  • Draft detailed requirements and conduct walkthroughs with the Product Owner for approval.
  • Create and refine user stories in collaboration with Developers, QA, and the Product Owner.
  • Lead story refinement and estimation sessions to ensure clarity and shared understanding.
  • Contribute to discovery activities to identify business needs and solution opportunities.
  • Provide functional guidance to the delivery team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support development and QA teams during build and testing phases.
  • Collaborate with business users during UAT and end‑to‑end testing to validate functionality.
  • Represent the team in Scrum ceremonies and assist the Delivery Manager with status reporting.
  • Support technical demos and deliver functional demonstrations to business stakeholders.

Skills

  • Experience as a Business Analyst working in agile delivery environments.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of FINEOS (Claims module preferred).
  • Strong requirement‑gathering and documentation skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear user stories.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to lead refinement sessions and drive alignment among cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of software development and testing processes to support Dev and QA teams effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on problem‑solving and continuous improvement.

Pay rate range: 80-100$/hr (40 hrs per week)
