Job description
Reporting to the Delivery Support Team Manager, the Delivery Support Technician will perform operational tasks related to delivery activities for GFT Canada projects and mandates. He/she will support the Professional Services Team (PSU) and Delivery Managers in supporting the delivery cycle, supporting the smooth running of time management and invoicing activities as well as producing the necessary management information.
Teleworking is permitted as directed by the Reporting Manager. However, the incumbent must be able to travel to the office at least 2 days a week or more, as required.
Main Duties
- Keeping the information in the project management system (Kimble) up to date.
- Monitoring the collection of professional hours (timesheets);
- Closing weeks, months and periods;
- Production of reports required by the Delivery Support Team Manager and the VP Professional Services;
- Carrying out invoicing activities.
- Developing reports and documentation required for professional services management indicators, as required.
- Leading the daily scrum of on-call professionals.
- Managing the operational aspect of updating consultants' CVs.
- Organise and maintain information and documentation relating to delivery, contracts, mandates and professional services.
- Working with the HR and Finance teams to ensure the right fit with professional services and delivery.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma in administration or accounting and management.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative position.
- Experience in a similar role is an asset.
Skills
- Knowledge of advanced MS Excel functions (charts, pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience with ERP software would be an asset (Salesforce, Kimble, SAP, OpenView or other).
- Organisational skills, resourcefulness, attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Ability to manage priorities under pressure.
- Ability to coordinate tasks/small projects.
- Good interpersonal skills to be able to provide advice and support to both employees and managers.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a changing environment.
- Excellent written and spoken French.
- Good command of written and spoken English is required for this position due to interactions with our English-speaking colleagues.
