Strategic Partnership Manager

The Strategic Partnership Manager is responsible for the 360-degree business relationships with 3 major cloud partners (Microsoft, AWS, Google) that GFT sell, service and support. The SPM is the pivotal role in the relationships GFT builds with 3 cloud partner companies. You are responsible for engaging partner channel, sales and marketing teams building trust by creating plans how 3 companies can capitalize on market opportunities by partnering with GFT. SPM leads the building of joint business plans defining solutions portfolio, Go-To-Market, sales and marketing strategies. Drives implementation of all aspects of the strategy by orchestrating relationships between the partners (excluding technical aspects), sales and marketing teams and to ensure excellence in execution of the strategy and achieving partnership growth goals and sales targets.



Key accountabilities:


  • Helps GFT grow business in the cloud by developing comprehensive 3 Partner Plans to identify short and long-term strategic goals and tactical execution.
  • Co-sell: Builds strong sales and marketing relationships with 3 Partners teams to market GFT portfolio of differentiated Cloud solutions and applications across industries.
  • Works with partners to identify necessary solutions portfolio aligned with market opportunities.
  • Identify an effective path to market with solutions and Go-To-Market (GTM) activities
  • Work on weekly basis with sales team to remove any obstacles on key deals to accelerate sales momentum.
  • Ensure hand-offs to engagements with the appropriate resources at the appropriate sales phase, to maximize win probability and minimize time to close, make proper decisions resolve issues with local leadership and escalate as required.
  • Drive performance management of partners through monthly/quarterly reviews to review overall business performance across the organization and to measure against partners’ transformation goals and business plan.
  • Drive continuous portfolio optimization of partners’ performance as measured by revenue, pipeline, consumption, usage and partner impact.





  • Understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, capabilities and solutions that generate cloud growth and innovation.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in core sales experience, partner channel development, sales, business development, alliance management in the technology industry
  • Executive relationship management experience driving sales with partners in commercial businesses.
  • Strong influence and orchestrator skills helping align GFT and partners resources to drive solutions that support customer needs.
  • Inclusive and collaborative – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment
  • Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort
  • Challenger mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through
  • Experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Sales, Marketing, Business Operations)
