About the role: Senior Technical Recruiter

We are currently looking to hire a Senior Technical Recruiter, on a permanent basis to join our growing team in Toronto/GTA.

In this role, you will be responsible for bringing on technical talent and working with candidates and clients directly throughout the entire process from sourcing to hiring.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process: source, evaluate, and close technical candidates (via your network, recruitment tools, job boards, social networking, referrals, internal database, events, etc.)
  • Interview candidates virtually or in-person to assess skillset
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified technical talent to submit to current and future client base, as well as internal technical hires
  • Select well-matched candidates to fulfill client job orders and maintain ongoing contact with the professionals, before, during, and after their contracts
  • Share leads and market intelligence to enhance our new client development efforts
  • Work closely with hiring managers at all levels to identify current and upcoming staffing needs and build long-lasting working relationships
  • Perform account management and expansion initiatives:
    •  Build and maintain strong customer relationships 
    • Ability to work under tight client SLAs
    • Ability to interpret and abide by client contractual obligations and identifying potential risks to leadership
    • Identify new hiring needs among existing customers 
    • Collaborate with sales team to identity hiring opportunities, as needed

Preferred professional expertise- You have a place with us if:

  • You have 5+ years of hands-on experience as an IT/Technical recruiter
  • 2 years of success in working as an Account Manager, in a hybrid recruiter/account management model, or equivalent
  • Have a strong network of technical talent in the Toronto/GTA
  • Strong ability to understand and communicate technical elements/jargons and requirements of various roles with hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders
  • Understanding of Toronto/GTA market and recruitment trends
  • Strong business acumen and exceptional interviewing skills
  • Out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to sourcing, candidate management, and candidate experience
  • Relentless drive to find and connect people
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to help hiring managers resolve resourcing challenges
  • Able to stay organized and prioritize tasks/goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills

Nice to have (not mandatory):

  • Proficiency in the French language
  • Understanding of technologies related to Guidewire and Insurance
