Hybrid Position to work from NYC
GFT is currently the lead partner on the largest Digital Transformation project for a banking industry leader. The team is composed by around 60 team members based worldwide. The new GFT Sr. Scrum Master will interact with cutting edge technology within a high performance team. You will be working on a brand new application that will have significant impact on business and users.
Responsibilities:
Manage Scrum Ceremonies (daily, retrospective, planning, review);
Analyze and diagnose opportunities for improvement in processes and working methods, contributing to leverage the results of the organization;
Support and train multiple Scrum teams through all Agile Scrum events and practices to empower teams in their delivery and execution of business value;
Define, maintain and update scrum team metrics and artifacts to ensure accurate and transparent communications with stakeholders and across teams;
Work closely with the client to assist in the evaluation and enrichment of the project health;
Encouraging agile behaviors, reinforcing practices, standards, ceremonies and supporting the overall performance and effectiveness of the Scrum team;
Conduct a collaborative and supportive team culture through engagement and team building practices;
Work collaboratively with your colleagues, product organization and technology;
Cultivate strong inter- and intra-departmental relationships and promote a positive, execution-focused work environment.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Minimum 10+ Years of Experience as a Scrum Master and well versed in agile / scrum ceremonies
• Minimum 2+ Years of Banking Industry Experience
• Minimum 5+ years of Hands-on experience with agile tools such as Jira
• Capable of taking ownership of a project and managing a team of engineers
• Development Background experience with strong understanding of SDLC
• Experience working with multiple teams simultaneously – able to manage 15 team members or more in total
• Experience documenting and managing Confluence Repositories
• Experience with Metrics-Oriented Reporting
