Sales Consultant – Industry GCP

The new GFT Sales Executive is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth with new and existing accounts across the US Industry & Manufacturing sectors, specifically focused upon Google Cloud solutions and technologies.
Responsibilities:
Drive all stages of the business development & sales cycle for target clients, from opportunity identification, qualification, development, proposal, negotiation, and successful closure
Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities for GFT services across both existing and new-name accounts within the US Industry and Manufacturing sectors
Work with Partner (Google) sales teams to bring relevant offerings to prospect accounts and help GFT grow and expand into new organizations
Collaborate with members of the wider GFT organization to drive successful closure and establish a foundation for successful delivery
Align client-specific challenges, business drivers, & technology strategy to GFT and Partner offerings & services to help drive positive results for GFT, our Partners, and our clients
Successfully achieve revenue and margin financial targets
Identify and help develop client case studies & reference materials to help drive future GFT sales
Reports to the Senior Vice President, Sales
Skills/Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Technology sales and account management, preferably at an IT Services supplier in the business-to-business (B2B) space
Experience and knowledge of the IT Services market – Cloud, AI/ML, Data analytics, Application Development experience is desirable
Knowledge of US Industry and Manufacturing sectors, terminology, and trends (i.e. Consumer Goods, Retail, Automotive, Aerospace, Discrete Manufacturing)
Practical experience providing client solutions based upon Google Cloud technologies and offerings
Passionate about technology and about how technology helps clients succeed
Ability to work with sales engineers and technical leads to understand the client’s needs and desired future state
Ability to travel to meet with clients at their facilities and locations
Experience with and knowledge of offshore/nearshore delivery models desirable
