GCP Partner Relationship Manager

Location: East Coast based position


The new GFT Partner Relationship Manager main activities would englobe:




Report to the Head of the GCP Business Unit at GFT USA


Development of the Joint Strategic Partner Business Plan and leading the Quarterly Business Review with a view to increasing joint revenue and to maintain GFT’s position as a key provider to GCP


Manage the Partner Portals (including; Opportunity; Funding; Marketing) and general Partnership tier requirements; coordinating activities that promote GFT through the partnership tiers; including Competencies


Identify partner programmes which would further develop the GFT channel partnership with the CSP; i.e. Reseller; Marketplace; MSP etc


Working closely with the designated GCP teams on all aspects of our joint Professional Services offerings focusing on both Enterprise and Corporate accounts across Financial Service, Insurance, and M&I industries


Build and further develop our key relationships with GCP, in particular having a wide and deep relationship with the key partner and sales personal including our key sponsors


Work closely with our global sales and delivery teams to ensure that we meet our partner revenue targets across industry segments


Promote GFT within Partner through having a thorough understanding of GFT’s cloud offerings and customer success stories


Work with our L&D teams; Practice Leads and International Delivery Units (IDU’s) to ensure GFT has the correct capabilities that match to Partners strategic direction


Work closely with the GFT US CUs in order to position GFT as a GCP preferred partner in front of customers and prospects, and bring GCP sales force when is needed


Work in a collaborative way with GCP Partnership teams in GFT Latin America (Brazil, Mexico and Costa Rica) to foster the relationship with Google and promote the business development across the regions

Work closely with our Delivery Management teams and Customer Engineers to ensure that the projects are visible within Partners’ organization


Support the virtual team internally in GFT to keep track of commercial agreements - progress and liaise where necessary to keep on track


Liaise with GFT and GCP teams to solve issues, communicate needs and create synergy


Work closely with the wider GFT organization across all Legal Entities in ensuring the relevant GFT teams are connected with the local Partner teams, aligned with the Strategic Partner Business Plan.



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in technology vendors partnership management, software sales or account management at an enterprise business-to-business (B2B) software company, selling to global accounts
  • Knowledge about Cloud technologies and all the topics related to the partnership management, like knowing the main products and lines of business, partnership engagement models, CSP main structure, training and certification paths, solution expertise and specialization for cloud partners.
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience working for a cloud services provider (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.) or managing directly the partnership with them
  • 5 years of experience in technology-related sales, product management, product marketing, and/or consulting with a focus on the cloud industry
  • Experience working with and managing different stakeholders in complex sales cycles, including global cloud service providers and packaged software vendors
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define modernization high level plans, and build business cases for adopting new technologies
  • Ability to leverage management level relationships with the partner to foster the GFT positioning with GCP, from a marketing, sales and technological standpoint.
  • Work can be made remotely most of the time, but travels to customer sites, Google offices and GFT offices (New York, Boston, Miami) will be necessary (around 30% to 40% approximately of travel time)
