Hybrid Position to work from Stamford - CT
The new GFT Business Analyst will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for DTCC T+2 to T+1 settlement changes.
• Adapt requirements following business and system’s regulations;
• Work cross functionally with Business, Operations, Finance and Risk teams to flush out requirements and technical changes.
• Work with internal cross regional technology team and the vendor to drive system’s enhancements
• Strong communication and excellent critical thinking skills;
• Work closely with the project manager and ensure is meeting deadlines are set forth in the project plan
• Work closely with business partners to understand needs and define functional requirements
• Create Project artifacts in line with the client’s Project Management Methodology
• Extract and analyze data to ensure system’s functional needs are met
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders
• Support quality assurance reviews
• Manage Project Financials
• Interact with Senior Management and articulate/escalate issues if necessary
• Manage delivery objectives
Required Skills/Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project and Visio;
- +5 years’ experience in Project Management;
- Industry Knowledge preferred;
- Familiarity with Agile preferred;
- The candidate must be a self-starter, detail oriented and with strong organizational and communication skills.
